MRT Bench Collection

The MRT Project Bench Design Competition invited students from local design institutions to develop innovative seating concepts for Malaysia’s MRT stations. From the submitted designs, few winning concepts were selected to be adapted for use in the underground stations. In collaboration with MRT, SculptureAtWork contributed to bringing these creative concepts into reality, translating student designs into functional bench installations suitable for public use. Through fabrication and engineering adaptation, the project bridges student creativity with practical manufacturing requirements, delivering distinctive seating solutions for everyday commuters.
